The Freckleland duo of Kyler England and Lalo Crane creates family-friendly music inspired and approved by their toughest critics/most appreciative fans: their kids! The first Freckleland song came about when Lalo overheard Kyler singing to her newborn on a baby monitor. Within days the friends had written and recorded “Little Lion Lullaby”, and Freckleland was born! As Kyler’s and Lalo’s families have grown, so has Freckleland: since 2013, the band has been awarded numerous prominent songwriting awards, been featured in the Photo/Memories App, and are featured creators in the YouTube Kids App with over 1 million views on YouTube.
Songs from Freckleland’s playful, welcoming debut album, “Be My Friend”, have found their way to kids and families across the world as well as to SiriusXM’s Kids Place Live station. Their second album, “I Can Be Anything!”, is a timely celebration of empowerment and inclusion that reminds kids to love and believe in themselves and to dream big! Freckleland’s numerous singles include songs inspired by real heroes like Amelia Earhart and Anne Frank, tunes about alien love and “spooky wooky” Halloween dancing, and everything in between! Their most recent album, “Goodnight Tunes”, is a collection of sparkling, soothing lullabies created in collaboration with powerhouse producer/songwriter AG www.byaginc.com. Kyler and Lalo met during their undergrad days at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Two moves cross country to LA and four kids between them later, they still do as much laughing as music-making when they get together!

Vibraphonist/percussionist/composer/producer/songwriter extraordinaire Lalo Crane spent years touring as a performer and educator throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Europe; was featured on NPR, Jazziz, Jazztimes, Downbeat, JazzWeek, the Village Voice, etc.; and now records mallets for film (“Don Jon”, PBS, etc.) and advertising (AT&T, Cheerios, etc.) as well as continuing to write and record her original material.
